I can't use any filters half the time when I open the app and the shopping area doesn't work

I'm Dana, one of the developers working on Pixlr-o-matic. I'm currently investigating this issue.

To be sure I understand what you're saying, could you clarify what you mean when you say 'the filters are not available?' Do you mean that if you pick the light bulb or the frame you have access to the lighting and border effects but the filter effects are missing altogether?

Seems like there's an issue with the shopping cart area. It's not accessible (greyed out) and I noticed that I am missing some of the filters I purchased (light bulb area). Similar to the reported issue.

Hi Camille,

I believe this is exactly the same issue. If you wait, with the device on and the data connection open (3G or Wi Fi) the store (shopping cart area) will eventually come back, and at that point you'll get your purchased effects back as well.

You'll know it's working again when a red dot appear on the button you touch to access the shopping cart area.

We were not expecting the store to be inaccessible as frequently or for as long a time as it has been and we're working on a fix for this problem.

Thanks Dana for the super fast response! It's happened to me a few times since the store opened but this is the longest it's been inaccessible. I will practice some patience. :).

Yes, the inaccessibility is certainly a problem - mostly because of the negative impact it has on the rest of the application. I'm looking forward to releasing a fix.

Also, I mis-spoke. The shopping cart button will stop being greyed out, but you will _not_ see a red dot.
