  • For users with an Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera, upon startup,
    if you are signed in and a Pro member, you’ll see Take Super Selfie with Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera. Tap it to launch the camera and take a pic that creates a mask of the foreground and another of the background.
  • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

What's New
  • Olympus TG-1 images can be opened without issue in the app.
  • Nikon COOLPIX users will now see the altitude metadata for their images.
  • For Windows 8 multi-touch devices, Tablet Mode will appear in the menu when an image isn't open.
  • Issues with feathering a brush mask, using fast tools, then returning to adjust the mask feathering have been resolved.
  • When going between Tablet and Desktop Mode, the interface now automatically changes to match the mode you are in.
  • The color now saved for the "Jean" effect is what is expected.
  • The noise now saved for effects with noise, such as "Harry" or "Jean", is the size of what is expected.
  • When you click "sign in" or "new account", you will no longer get an error message regarding a bad internet connection.
  • An option was added to the About box that lets you select whether you want to use the system proxy settings or not. This eliminates the issue some people were having with not being able to connect to the internet when using a proxy.

  • The Pixlr Mac desktop version has been optimized for OS X 10.10 Yosemite users.
  • For OS X 10.10 Yosemite users, when you launch the app for the first time, log in, and have no image loaded, the app works as expected.
  • Minor UI improvements.

Known Issues

Issue: An emailed image is not the same size as what was sent.
Some email clients scale down large images, even if you specify "actual size". Depending on your Internet Service Provider, it may not be possible to email images beyond a certain size.
Issue: An imported tiff lost its transparency.
Tiff images with transparency may lose their transparency when imported into Pixlr.
Issue: When an image is sent using an email icon and Airmail, the image is missing from the received email.
Images cannot be sent as email, if using Microsoft Outlook. Try another email client, such as Apple Mail.
Issue: When using a proxy, Pixlr cannot connect to the Internet.
